Been slow. Having more luck on walleye and stripers, and I'm kinda hooked on em at the moment!
Wonder if anyone is catching whites at Carlyle.
We fished for whites at Carlyle last week with no luck . Caught alot of catfish though. Tried some night time crappie fishing with the drop lights Monday night, only had 4 keepers lot's of short ones.

i got into the whites saturday morning before all the pleasure boaters got out there been better early morning not so much in the evenings yet
different story here on whites on carlyle, id say they been on fire for last 2/3 weeks. find balls of shad on flats and whites are there. will be back out tomorrow. lots of 12/14" this year

Fished Shelbyville Saturday with a couple buddies. Didn't have to move around much. Fished mid lake 12-15 feet deep with minnows in approximately 25 feet of water. Sorted through a ton of little ones. Ended up with 34. I'm Sure we could have finished the limit if we had moved around a little more. Was a beautiful morning on the water, made that much better by the lack of a bass tournament! If there was one they didn't launch from mid lake, and it wasn't a very big group. They are still bitting.
