Tailgunner
Figured I would share this. It's been a while since I've been logged in and able to post catch reports but I have had good luck fishing with these little spinners. This is one of several I ordered but u get the idea why it's called a tailgunner. I have been to several bait shops in my area and nobody seems to be familiar with them.

Sorry evidently crappie.com has changed formats and I don't have options to load pics.

Interesting. Might try to make something like that for trolling.

Looks like it would be great for spider rigging and long lining. Thanks for sharing!

I like the way that looks, lot of flash to get their attention for sure.
-
I use them for trolling dragging 4 poles db. And Tony I will try to get more pictures posted of the other ones I have. Hard to see the jig/hook in 1 picture but all the tailgunners are on sickle hooks. I don't think it would work on a standard because of the difference in where the hook bends and where the swivel is soldered on.

Looks like that bait will catchem, need to try to run some of these down to try

That's going to be homemade. Lot of guys on the jig tieing forum make them. Go looking jig tho . Thanks for sharing.

Gilmore Tackle here in Arkansas makes something similar they call the "red head".

Southern crappie rod online store sells something close to it with the tail spinner.
