Pulling crankbait videos
I have been playing around with a GoPro camera I bought some time ago. I filmed a couple of short trips on Lake of the Ozarks while pulling crankbaits. I played around with a video editing program and put together two videos that I have posted on YouTube. They are pretty amaturest but I am having fun with the process. I have a lot to learn!
I plan to shoot some more videos in the future and hopefully they will get better. I don't know how to post a link to the videos but if you are interested in watching, go to YouTube and search for "Trolling crankbaits for crappie on Lake of the Ozarks". I have two videos on my YouTube channel, "Mike Baker Videos".
Hope you enjoy. Click on these https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NjSMtOYgoXA

Pretty cool there, Mike. Loving that Blue/Chrome!
So...I'd be interested to hear what you have to say about the tadpoles?

Great work !
I also do a little filming myself using the GoPro too.
I know one thing that made my videos a lot more watchable, is to change camera angles and shots every minute or so.
Makes the video a little more interesting.
Once all the shots/ videos are done you can than edit them all together fading in and out.
Again thanks for sharing your techniques!

Awesome videos. Thanks for going to the trouble and posting them. Like they say "A picture is worth a Thousand words", well a video is worth a few thousand. You answered a bunch of questions I had just by watching how it is done. I will be trying this out soon. And I love those van seats! Man I wish my boat was big enough for a set of those.

Great videos and very informative. Keep posting please.

Joedog,
I think the tadpoles definitely have their time and place. Anytime you need to get a bait down deeper than the bait will go on its own, the tadpole will be very useful. The day I was experimenting with them the fish were no deeper than 20 ft. which I could reach with the Bandit 300. I was running the tadpole about 29 ft. deep and it was running under the fish.

I really enjoyed your videos. I want one of those Terrova trolling motors. Been saving for a year now. I probably have another year to go.

Personally, I enjoy the videos made by other fisherman. No fancy jackets, no high dollar paraphernalia, just good old fashioned fun. :-) Keep 'em coming.
