You have to LOVE Nimrod

Attachment 243004Attachment 243005Had another great trip to Lake Nimrod this Friday. Took a couple of buddies to catch some fish for dinner. Man was the bite on fire. We had our 90 fish limit by 11:15 or so and so we got to quit early and beat the heat. We slow trolled double minnow rigs up the Anderson Branch arm of lake or what is left of it. Great day and a lot of fun on water. If you haven't been out yet to Nimrod your missing out on some great fishing right now. Good luck to all

It looks like you have been wearing them out. We have never been to Nimrod but may have to put it in our list and take a "road trip".

Great pics. Nimrod the man is okay too.

I remember when fishermen used to be famous for telling lies about when/where/how many they caught.

Now I suppose the Internet fame is too tempting and if someone manages to catch a mess they can't resist telling the whole world where.

I didn't understand Nimrod's frustration at first, but now I do.

Internet fame??? I thought this site was about promoting crappie fishing with accurate stories that allow other people to enjoy also. Another reason why nobody post anymore.

Tailgate pics are one thing, "I caught x numbers of limits on x baits at x point of x lake" is bad for those of us who enjoy the sport and don't want the resources abused.

No way way to use the ramp at Sunlight Bay. My pics didn't turn out, but there is a lot of mud between the end of the ramp and the trickle of water.
