Wylie 6-21-2016 Perch Jerkin with the Grandchildren and Daughter

Got the lines wet at 7:00. Fishing was slow and tough at first. Had to really work all around the points. Caught them 15 feet or 30 feet. They were in small schools. Jessica had caught a nice catfish (can you call a catfish nice?) and I repectfully place it back in the water. (Right) She was disappointed that we did not take pic. Well 5 minutes later another cat. This time took a pic. Another good thing about those scales is it is the only way some family members will hold a fish. :biggrin

At the end decided to go back at our first spot in Allison and it payed off. Had a 30 minute fury. 11:00 hit and time to suck up some cold air. Fishing had its slow times and kids got bored. It was an extra hard morning and had to work hard to find them but ended up with a decent catch.
40 perch going in the foodsaver vacuum bags. Also had 5 Slimers that I had respectfully placed back in the water. :Rofl

Yep there is something about on the lake with family that is special time. Jessica told the boys how she remembered all those times in Texas taking her out to fish with me. She had a special princess pole and are memories for a lifetime. Please take your family out when you can.

CrappieKidd, you'll having a lot of fun and hope you'll continue to. Enjoy seeing your family with smiles and fish too! Save a few for when I'm able to get out there. And just think, If you built that house right on the lake, it would just be another ho hum day with the fam on Big Muddy

The fish dont even matter.....it's ALL about quality time. Congrats.:)
