I seen someone post this on the BBC forums. Looks pretty simple compared to adding a pump and plumbing options I had been looking at. I am going to add a 5'-6' hose to reach my weigh in cooler and just leave it attached and in the battery compartment instead of drilling a hole for it to come out of at the back of the boat.

If it doesn't work as an aerator, it might do well in a hot tub.....
I've been wanting to add a pump out to my boat for a while. Takes a while to scoop out of the livewell to fill a 40qt cooler at about 1/4 gallon each scoop. I could not bring myself to drill a big hole in the back for the drain on the other system I seen. So when I seen a guy talk about using this I figured I would try it for $20. It will replace the factory spray head in my boat which looks just like it on the inside of the livewell. I can always put the old one back in of it don't work. I checked the tracking and it will be here tomorrow. Will get it installed and try it out over the weekend.

Looks like the one on my ranger. Just pull out and it pumps the well dry. I have gotten pretty good at drilling holes in boats lately Jared. Just take a deep breathe close your eyes and go for it.LOL
After looking at it I may try and find a pvc "Y" the right size and tie it in to one of my bilge pump hoses. I have to a automatic and a manual pump so there is two exit ports at the back of the boat. Should not hurt a thing to Y into one of them. Then would not have to mess with a hose other than I could use it with the cooler being on the deck.

Yep It can be unnerving. Mine has the third hole beside the bilge holes. The Y might work as long as it don't back flow though the bilge into the boat.

I bought a 10' price of reinforced 3/4" hose to use for now. I think it will be more useful that way. I can fill weighin cooler beside the boat or on the back deck. May also be able to use it to fill the 120qt cooler on the front deck when spider rigging. I got it all hooked up today and will give it a try this weekend. I did see a "Y" today at Westlakes that had a **** off valve on each line. That may work if I decide to run it out that back. But for now I think the hose will be more useful.
The Y with a shut off would work if ya go that way
I got to put it to use on Saturday to fill the weigh in cooler. Worked real well and I like being able to fill the cooler with it on the deck of the boat. Makes it easier to cull fish with it up there.

Leave your hose long and you can pretty much fill any bag/bucket up.
