It is about 1 ' lower than low pool in the fall dropping steady . Take extreme caution launching and motoring now . Already hearing folks talking about hitting stumps and rocks . Some running aground on points and humps. One thing to note at mid lake in the river is concrete bridge embuttments ( one is in middle of the channel ) that will soon be a navagation hazard .:twocents
Where are the bridge embuttments? The Rover bridge? I'm planning on heading there this weekend. I'll be in my duck boat so I'm not worried about stumps but concrete is a different story! Thanks!!

If I was an expert on that lake, I would have those concrete pillars marked with big bright orange clorox bottles or something for you guys so you would know right where the spot was located instead of being one of these guys who like to set back and laugh when somebody damages their boat. If somebody out there don't do it, I may just do it myself even tho I am not the local expert.

Dang... I'm off Wednesday and was wanting to go to Nimrod but all this talk about bottoming out and hitting stuff has about changed my mind. Think if I do go I'll not even run the big motor at all, just the trolling motor. lol.
I would try to do it but my motor is in the shop right now. As soon as I get it back I'll take a look at doing it. I gave them a copy of my map and drawing at the bait shop. Hope it helps a few folks.
Be careful and catch a lot of fish during the drawdown.
