Had a light work schedule the last week. Fished 6 out of the last 7 days. Time to go back to work and heal up. Took a friend back to the weir Thursday and the crappie were still there. Ended up with 27 crappie and 3 hybrids. The crappie averaged 11 inches with a few 10s and a few 12s. The weir is a submerged roadbed used in the construction of the dam at Truman. You should be able to locate in in any topo map of the lower lake.Quote:

It's not a weir. Misnamed. As jigfisherx says, it is a raised road that allowed travel around the dam while it was being constructed. It was left in place and covered by water when the lake filled. Easily found with sonar.
