Larto fishing buddy
Had a great time with my Grandson passing on an addiction. We kept around 60. Half were over a pound.
A couple well over 2 lbs. remember doing this 50 years ago with my papahttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...0c7853f8b9.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...f884be5f5b.jpg

That's the best way to spoil em. IMO

Nice catch. Making memories. My sons still talk about catching out of the canoe when they were young. Nothing beats the smile on a kids face fishing.

OH WHAT PRECIOUS MEMORIES SURFACE WHEN I SEE YOU AND YOUR GRANDSON. :). I just told my husband today how I wished my dad could see my grandaughter here at LARTO fishing. He fished here for years and he and my mother taught me how to fish on CALCASIEU River in ALLEN parish. The river was about a half mile behind my Grandmothets old home place. Needless to say we did a lot of family fishing and cooking on the river:). Thanks for the pict and info but most of all thanks for reminding me how blessed I've always been. Happy fishing

Very good job, sir and a good catch. That old saying is still true today; "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime."

Glad to see you healed and back in the boat. Catching fish, as usual. In the main lake by the camps?
