This mod took all of 10 min and she was ready to cast. Nothing to modifying molds. When I first started I was nervous as heck but no let the mods roll out.

The kit with the dremel bits I used
Good job
How big are they JW?
These are 1/8. Because the way the mold is set up you can only modify 3 of the 4 cavity on the 1/8 side. The last cavity doesn't allow enough space .
nice,looks good
Looks good
Those look good and nice work!
That and those jigs look VERY good!!! I'm not very confident in making such changes in
a mold. Maybe, I'll give it a shot, if I can find an older mold at one of the local flea markets.
Again, NICE JOB! Thanx for posting, especially the pics. Dave
Do you just modify one side of the mold?
Snowball it depends on which mold and mod I am doing. The hook eye is always modded on both sides. Wire keepers usually one side. Swivels both sides
If you were to be adding the swivel do you have any trouble getting the mod placed in the same place on both halves? I think the actual mod work with the Dremel would be easier than locating the work to be done on each halve. Thank you for your time for the answers.
No sir but with swivel you have to modify both sides
