Anybody here cook anymore?
I was at the newest, biggest, greatest, Kroger today in StarkVegas MS. I've been there several times now and A feller can still get lost if'n he ain't careful. Anyhow, I saw a guy from the meat department putting some beef in the bargain bin. Three pieces about 2 inches thick and marked beef tenderloin. They were untrimmed and still had silver skin on them and had started turning dark with age. Yep, fillet mignonette! I bought them for a song, brought them home and trimmed them up. I ended up splitting one, so I had four fillets.
