Couldn't catch a perch even. Little gar everywhere and the water is still real high. Breezy is an understatement.

Try Henderson....I got a few Tuesday...report & pics later today...water falling again fast....piling starting to punch thru the surface....
Well at least you went! Better than staying home. Thanks for the report.
Hwy 94 is correct like Bruce said. Instead of a left at the "T" on Rees St., I take a right and go through Breaux Bridge. Then onto the Henderson Hwy into Henderson (Hwy. 347). The way I have always done it. Not in a big hurry, and it's is more peaceful.
Mermentau, I used to fish Miami corp. all the time. Had a camp in Grand Chenier before hurricane rita took it. I would fish east of the landing going toward white lake. Anywhere I could find good water without to much salt. When I was down there they used to try to keep it 6 ppm to keep the weeds down I'm going with a buddy of mine next Saturday because I no longer have a boat with 25hp. If you go again let me know if you find any good water Thanks
