I guess you got my Response to your PM. I do know for a fact fish are being caught all over the delta now.
By the way, where is Miflin lake? :scratchhead
Up the Tensaw above Cliff's landing. Go up river until it splits, go to the right and first left just above the split. I have never fished it but supposed to be good crappie fishing, just a big place to find them if you don't know where to start.
It is a pretty good spot to fish.... Water is usually clearer in the upper portion when other spots are muddy. I'll probably try there next since they slacked up biting in Chippewa .... Noodles work pretty good in mifflin too! Have fun
87advantage, do you use the noodles for crappie? never heard of it until someone posted some pics on The Fever about that the other day.
No on the noodles for crappie.... We usually throw a few out for catfish when we get there, then crappie fish and pick them up when we get done crappie fishing.... Sometimes you get a bonus.... Big Cat to go with the crappie !
We are going tomorrow out of Steele Creek, Gunnison, and Bayou Sara. I know that's a little further south than you are talking about, but I found clear water there when I couldn't find it anywhere else. We will be bream fishing tomorrow. If you need a report on the south end, hollar at me tomorrow.

Here is our catch, 5 gills and one cracker. Caught them in 6-8 foot of water fishing about 3 foot deep using crickets. Not on beds yet. Probably have to wait until the next full moon.

Nice catch... Did they come from Mifflin?
We usually use cut bream... Or small live ones!
