North Kentucky Lake area folks

I'm going to have few days down there around the weekend. Not sure exactly what the schedule is going to be yet.

Anybody who wants to get together to BS, talk fishing or go fishing, or just meet on the water to say hey, shoot me a PM and I can give you my phone number. My fishing partner had his plans changed by his boss at the last minute, but I'm not passing up the opportunity to get on the water before Memorial Day. I'll be at Hillman Ferry, but will probably be around the west side of the lake at some point during the trip.

Say hey up at site 83. I am taking my wife's cousin's boys camping and we are going to try and run some lines for cats and maybe catch some bluegill redear or generally just a have a good time in the woods and on the lake.

I'll have guide parties with me Friday and Sat but if you see a big white Excel center-console, give me a yell.We'll probably be pulling cranks somewhere on the north end.

Will do! I usually stay at the other end near the beach since I tent camp, but I'll try to swing down that way.

83 had ought to be back up in the woods with no electricity. Least I thought that was what I picked. We are tent camping too.

Rumor is a tornado may have went through LBL just now. Just the mention of camping and LBL and I have triggered a tornado. That is how it goes for my family.

Up on top of the hill in the woods for sure. Don't know about electricity up there.

Mayfield got hammered. We got golfball sized hail in Benton but no tornado made it this far.

Glad to hear you are okay. I've seen video from Mayfield and they definitely got hit hard. Scary stuff.

I got some loud boys coming with. I tried to get us back away from folks. This is their first time camping like this. I grew up camping at Hillman's and I thought it was great. Hopefully they get a kick out of it.

We are going to go down below one of the dams and catch some bait then set a trot line up on the lake and maybe try for some bluegills and redear or fish for cats. I figure something will be biting to keep them interested.

I just pulled out of the Taco Johns heading back to Louisville When the first of it started. Scooted up the WK PKWY asap and missed all but the wind and rain. We were lucky and we caught some fish every day we were there. Stayed at Big Bear...

I didn't know you were still at BB. Thought you had moved down further. Shooot! I will stop in next run if you are home. May have to come back for a day trip next week or 2! Gills and Crackers should be on fire by then!
