Lake Viking Report*

My first post although a long time lurker. I actually met a couple of you great folks on Truman a couple of years ago during spring camp when I happened to be fishing a tournament. I enjoy reading all of the great reports.

Anyway down to business....Caught this 15 3/4" , 2# female yesterday at Lake Viking. 1/16 oz jig head, black and chartreuse shadpole. Pulled her from under a dock in 6' of water in the back of one of the western coves. Put her back to make big babies.

Water temp = 63. Partner and I caught 58 in about 3 hours. 8 of the 58 were females. Cleaned 30. All on spawning banks. Attachment 237894

Nice one. I had a lot a while back and loved fishing the crappie spawn up there. Hooked a few dinks that ended up Bass food.
