I've not fished that area, up river a bit in the flats off of HWY 31 and the Y. Were you along rip rap in that area, brush pile or creek edge? I really like throwing that road runner. The thump is usually very solid! Thanks.
Actually I was in 12' of open water. Just got lucky.
