Uncle! Have had 6.2 inches in the last 24 hours - and still coming down. Parts of Hwy 1252 where I live off of is under water. I-49 is closed due to high water. The river has come up 12 feet and still rising.

We still have FM roads blocked due to high water around our area. Thankful to be living on high ground. Fighting fire ants and reports of feral hogs in the area
more than ever before. They got to go somewhere but around here they get ate.

Mr. Bruce that was at the Lafayette / St. Landry parish line. Not sure if the picture is North or South but it was closed in both directions. We were at Larto, told my wife shucks looks like we will have to stay another day...LOL. It opened back up in a few hours, just my luck.
