Yes it is. 11 inches for normal people, and you and me are normal(I think). 13" would be for a tall guy.
I like 15in.
11" would be about right. Time you add the seat w/ the base, you're looking at another 3-4" depending on the seat you are using. I've found that if it's too high, your feet aren't flat on your deck, and it hurts your thigh behind your knees. I just replaced the pedestal on my front deck w/ a 11" because that's what the original pedestal was.:twocents
15 in are the ones i like
11 inch for shorter folks and 14-15 for taller folks. I used to keep a 11 in my boat for my fishing partner but he has decided he likes the taller one better now.
I got both and use the 11s for myself.
I guess that means me and you is short Calvin. :biggrin
I use a 6"one. Hate dangling my feet :)
:Rofl
There is nothing normal on Rees.....he is one of a kind...haha...
Just did some measureing......Dining room chairs, 18 inches ......standard commode, 16 inches, Desk chair, 21 inches,
Mine measures with 13 inch screw in posts and Millennium seat Measures 18 at back edge of seat and 21 inches at high point up front
Many boats have 11'' and some have 13''. I'm long legged and got 16'' on my trip to Grizzly jig this spring . Helps with keeping foot up on trolling motor foot pedal .
I had to cut my pedestals down 3" when installing milleniunums seats,,m feels much better now,,low and closer makes for less rock in and Rollin, IMHO
I think you can buy as short as 6 inch. They have them at the boat store I use. I am short, but I like the 13 inch. When I want to use my butt seat, I just add a 6 inch in it.
Just got some 11's to try. They sho look short after the 14's.
