2 1/2 drops
It figures. Got about 3 acres of sunflowers and corn planted and not a drop of rain since the seed hit the ground...:dono
Hopefully some relief in site over the next few days...:pray
Not one drop in Lexington. Very dry here.
We got about 3 light sprinkles on Badin yesterday.About the time I got the bimmini up it stopped.
I had 3 guys fishing for Operation North State. We didn't kill them but everyone caught fish, perch, cat fish and about 6 crappie. We ran thru 10 doz minnows in 6 hours ran out 10 min before we headed to weigh in.
Fish were on the bottom in 20-25 ft we tight lines bumping the bottom
The guys had fun which is why we do it.
What's rain? Looks like were heading back to low levels again on the lakes. How many inches do we need to stay above draught level?:dono
I don't know how they do it but Murray has been at 357.5 for a month. The level has not changed but an inch or two during the spawning season. Kudos to SCE&G for helping the fishermen. Wylie for years has gone up and down like a pogo stick with no regard for the spawn.
Having some good storms come through and putting down a little water. Got to be a help for the grass and plans with anything we get.
Single dark clouds blowing over for the past hour. Dropping some drops but not enough to wet the pavement yet. Hope we get rain tonite or tomorrow (even though I was going fishing in the morning but I'll sit at home for a good soaking rain.)
Nothing near Clarks Hill
9:36 pm raining like a cow pis sing on a flat rock here . Can't get the dogs to go out for last call. I don't blame them
Finally reached us here in Lexington. Been raining pretty good for about 30 minutes now. Bunch of thunder too. (Sunday morning)
Finally some rain here! 1 inch so far this morning.:biggrin
After sowing 3 food plots yesterday we FINALLY got some rain. Matter of fact I woke before the clock to go fishing this morning and heard it raining so I cut off the clock and went back to sleep. Well, the wife tells me it hasnt rained since went back to bed. Figures. Atleast we did get .4 tenths of rain. Now I can cut the grass atleast and maybe the food plots will germinate now.
Sounds like an awesome time. Thank you for sharing your time to show our Veterans how much we support them and care.
Hope I can join in in the near future.
Thanks Mr. Grady for sharing this with us.
It's hard to smoke boston butts in a down pour.
We have had 1 1/4" here over the last 24 hours. Rained hard this morning and glad to get every drop.
