Thinking about a trip to Broken Bow lake to crappie fish any info to help a ky boy?
Machine is the guy down there to talk to. If I were going down now and couldn't find fish on the bank, I would fish the standing timber around Sand Springs Bend and go up by the dam and look for beds deep. Good Luck
Lake high
Crappies slow
Bass and eyes good in bushes

Heading down there Thursday for my 10 year anniversary so was going anyway. Fished it last year and had a blast. Was catching over 100 spotted bass per day. Really wanting to get on some of the big bass they are famous for and walleye. Any recommendations? Not wanting someone's specific spots, just what should I be looking for and maybe tossing at them. I plan on using jerk baits, rogues, some soft plastics and grub/jigs to find some crappie also. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Aiken 5-16 jig in PBJ color tipped with baby brush hog shortened in water melon candy.

Thanks so much Machine. I'm loaded up with PB&J and watermelon candy baby brush hogs. I also got some Yum Babie Christie Critters in that color also. Thanks again.
Walleyes are doing well
Bring a few suspended jerk baits
But wait till a eye hits that jig......
You have to be quick on the draw as they can inhale and exhale a bait in 3/10ths of a second

I'm bringing down Rogues and some Lucky jerk baits. Was any color better than another? Finding them on rip rap or rock points?
Bushes
I like browns
But a parakeet color bandit is the shizzle

Machine, you da' man. I appreciate your advice and help. Bandit Walleye B Shad?
No it's a jerkbait

Think it's called a walleye lure

Yeah I think so too. But those parakeets must be hard to find. I've been to multiple places and couldn't understand them. Guess have to order online. I greatly appreciate all your help. Thanks again. Craig E.
Well water is definitely up. Are you fishing north or south end of lake. I'm hearing walleye walleye on north end.
Machine, you were spot on. Had a great day on the water. Caught a bunch of fish and lost a few I know we're over 5 and one was probably closer to 7 or 8. Thanks so much again for the info and help. I definitely owe you one.
BTW
how many eyes

Nada dagone walleye. Man, I couldn't find them for nothing. Any recommendations?
Parallel the brush line on main lake with crank baits or jerk bait
But they normally will hit the jig but you have to be quick LOL
