Crappie masters report

As the anticipation grows for this weekend, thought I would start a thread on my adventures. This will be my first crappie masters tournament and we will be wearing crappie . Com jerseys. We are not looking good good in our prefishing, only having weights of 8lbs twice and a little over ten lbs once. I talked to one of the pros today and he had over 12 lbs worth of fish. I'm guessing it will take a 2 lb average to win this event.
I have a viewing/ funeral tomorrow so I will not be prefishing much more this week. We will have the choice of the Alabama river or lake Jordan. It looks like the weather will co operate , should be good times for everybody in the tournament. I will update the thread at the end of everyday we are on the water. I have not been this excited in a while. The wait will be tough, working my way to Friday .
Wouldn't it be nice to see a fellow Cdc member place in this event? Sporting a jersey designed by slab. Aight that's all for today's report, wish us well!!!!!

No time to
prefish again today. Looks like we will have to rely on week
old scouting to compete. Maybe they have not moved much. Time will tell.

Maybe able to scout today if the rain holds off. I've upgraded my line to 6 lb vis anticipating some larger fish. We will have a check in and rules meeting this afternoon. That will help stay the anticipation, I've had a hard time sleeping and woke myself up setting the hook one night. Fun times....... Should be a blast.

Oh wow.... We were looking for new spots and had peeps following us around marking where we were scanning. Glad we didn't go to our spots. Not use to this lol

Wow, that would make me nervous. Sounds like its time to pull out the map and find similar spots, just-in-case.

Aight fixing to head out load up the minnows and gear head that way. They are making us all meet up for a live well check at prattville , then trailer to our boat ramp of choice. That's nearly two hours truck time. We got this........ Gonna make a showing!!!!!

14 th place today. We are 2.4 lbs outa first. Gotta work hard Tommorrow Lead weight was 12.35. We are at 9.89 after we lost our heaviest fish to heat. We shoulda weigh 10.75 with it.
