I fished there last weekend for my first time so I may not be the best source of information. Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, the fish I caught appeared to be post spawn. The black crappie were on rock structure and the whites were on wood cover. The best color was purple with chartreuse with Christmas tree chartreuse a close second. I was never able to put together a sure enough depth on them as I caught them from 18" to 12'. Probably not much help but it's what I got.

Most reporting a lull in fishing which sometimes occurs after the spawn as they recuperate. Blue Mtn still sending out good reports right now. But both lakes should be post spawn
Thanks nimrod. I was afraid of that. I would love to go to blue mt lake but it's a 3 hour drive for me and for that time frame I could drive over to Grenada too
We'll I drove all the way to gander mt to get sum nimrod specials and they didn't have any

We are experiecing a flood . The big rain over this upper valley will cause the lake to rise rapidly over next few days. This tends to slow the bite down . Catfish and Bass usually fire up first .
You think it's already shut em down nimrod? I was gonna go drag a few jigs around today.

The difference between last Sunday and this Sunday was crazy. It came up 12' in 2 days! We managed to find quite a few but sorting through the dinks was a task!!
Corps now pulling water so it should start dropping soon .
