Thanks Mike and everyone else for everything. I know if I need anything CdC people would be the first I would turn to. I've had more friends over the years than I can count. most of which were during my career. I only developed my CdC friendships during the last several years, but I cherish these friends more than you would ever know.Quote:

15 days ago my father was rushed to the hospital for what the doctors thought was a stroke...Once stabalized at Florida Hospital Orange City, he was flown to FHS. The doctors there determined as a result of the stroke he was suffering severe brain seizures. The treatment was unsuccessful and they induced him into a coma. He was slow to come out of the coma due to his age and general health condition and the doctors didn't give us much hope of him recovering. Last Tuesday or Wednesday he came out of the coma. The doctors still gave us little hope. On Friday he was responding very well. He was showing great signs of recovery and even the doctors were encouraged. Today it seems he has regressed and they have begun treating him with antibiotics for pneumonia.
It has been a tough time for my family with all the ups and downs for the last two weeks. He is a fighter and we still are holding out that he recovers. Tomorrow is his 90th birthday!

No reason to be sorry about anything Mike, your time & efforts are concentrated on your #1, "Family"...I'm sure Dad is so proud to have a relationship with a son like yourself & the reason his fight is so strong...I pray his health & family concerns turn for the better...hope he get's a break from that hospital food & is able to have a little Mickey-D hash brown on B-day, thoughts with ya :pray

Sorry to hear of all of this Mike. I have a hard time remembering the order of things sometimes, but God is first, Family is second and everyone else comes after that and they can fight about the order. You are a lucky man that you get along with him and have had good times to remember. He looks some kinda happy in the picture. My prayers will go up for him and you folks and hope for the best. All you need do is speak...........

Prayers for you and your family Mike. I know exactly what you are going through. My mom which is 90 years old also has been up and down sense the day after Xmas. We thought we were going to have to rush home several times while we were in Florida but she kept bouncing back. The doctors had her gone more than once. She now is battling pneumonia for the second time in 2 months.
