Am rigging out new boat and thinking about a Helix 10 SI on console and Helix 9DI on bow. Will these link together and what transducers do I need. Will be used for freshwater fishing, crappie and green trout. Thanks

The HELIX 10 SI will come with everything you need for a transom mount application ...
The HELIX 9 DI will come with the transom mount XNT 9 DI T ...you may want to call HB and exchange this xducer for the XTM 9 Di 25 T (200kHz/455kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI) or the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T (83kHz/200kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI) ...
Both of these xducers are puck style for TM application and have extra shielding for possible RFI issues ...
You will also need 2 AS EC QDE adapter cables ...
Humminbird | AS EC QDE
You will also need 1 Ethernet cable long enough to reach both units ...

The HELIX 10 SI and HELIX 9 DI can share all Sonar technologies, Accessories, and Waypoints ...

Thanks, I have been figuring on this longer than it took to pick out my wife!
I don't understand this linking thing. What is it?
Bass, mostly considered trash fish on this board. They are pursued by a lot of us but many won't admit to the crime!

That's great! I usually do a trip or two when I suck at everything else...lol
I have a couple of buddies that call them green carp - and I'm down with either name....lol

EEEEEeeeeeeeeeewwwwwww......
:yikes
Once the green trout are fillet'd and fried, mix them with the crappie fillet's and most folks won't know the difference unless they are true crappie fisher persons and eat a lot of crappie.
the green fish are good...just not as pretty as a crappie/sacalait.........
