Ms. Trip

Well a few of us did the Mississippi thing last week and as always seems the case weather delt us a bad hand. The wind blew blew blew and was still blowing when we left Paul calls it his ms. boat ride sure he will talk about it for sometime. Was good to see the supposed big 4 and the people down there all treated us well. Think 20 or so keepers caught a couple of them seemed like 5 gal bucket lids with fins. Brought tears to my eyes the number of 11 1/2 in fish returned to the water they wanted to come home with me I seen it in there eyes when they swam away. I think if I go again in the spring I will not take a boat just chest waders and a 30 yr olds attitude of I can still do that. The locals are really filling stringers by wading. Definately a learning experience and alot of recon for future trips took place. Measure em has some pics and he is supposed to add them. Glad to be back and LOZ here I come.

It never fails, plan a trip, weather kicks your tail, but hey good time and great memories are made on them so so trips, you made it home safe and sound so congrats. and y'all caught some sippi. fish...

Sardis and a sippi wind are something to be respected. I guess ill just have to mount my new 2pc HT 14 footer that is now in 4 pieces instead of a 3 lb crappie. Enjoyed the time with my Dad, Paul and Richard. Spring weather always deals fits on a pre-planned trip. Recon accomplished for a crank pulling trip the next time we travel south on 55. oh and I do not owe Richard dollar no matter what he says.
