They finally bit today.
Well finally the fish decided to bite. Not slabs, not bass, but catfish and bream saved the day. After a very slow start I finally found a spot where there was some activity going on. Linda caught 3 of the 4 cats and lost one that was much larger. I caught all the bream but 1. They were all caught with blue and white jigs. Nice day to be on the water, it started out chilly with the passing of a cold front but warmed up nicely by noon. Fish for supper for a change.

Nice fish there pawpaw! Glad you and Mrs. Linda caught some. A buddy and I went to Lacassine, only caught 1 bass, 1 sac and 2 goggle eye. Gave them to a lady and her son fishing on the bank, her son couldn't have been happier about getting the sac! Made giving the fish to them worth it!

Nice catch PPG. When ya ready to make a north shore trip let me know. I'll take a day off. Better be quick or will have ta make a spillway trip. We've never done one of those.

Nice catch Mr. Gene and Mrs. Linda. Looks like several meals to me. Nothing better than fresh fish. I don't care what kind it is. Congratulations ya'll.

OldYankee, if you're referring to my catch, it was made fishing the oilfield canal around Houma.
