Your motor size will determine the speed more than boat size. Tell them what size motor you have so you can get a comparison.:twocents
I have a Lowe stinger 175 with a 60hp an was thinking about upgrading to a boat with a 115hp. I can only get about 34mph out of mine
There is one guy with an express 19' with a 200 yammi. Had the ECM splashed to a 300. They are expecting to break the 90 MPH...Unless that is too slow for you.
Anything is possible if you have the coin to do it, and the twins to push it to its limits
My 17.5ft Bass tracker pt175 with 50hp merc runs 34mph, you may want to try a differant prop if your into top end speed
I have a Lowe 180W with 90 hp Johnson hit 47 or 48 on slick water with it trimmed just right. Most of the time 42 to 45 mph.
i have a 18 foot flat bottom with a 1989 50 hp Johnson and it will do 23 mph. Most of the time it does about .7 mph it makes netting the fish a little easier.
18' G3 jon with a 90 Yamaha 4 stroke. I've seen GPS readings of 52 mph, but I'm not gonna run it over about 35. I'm too old and scared, if I was 30, yep, I'd run it flat out all the time. 25 or 30 MPH is plenty fast enough on the water.
I have a new Lowe Stinger 195DC with Merc 115 4-stroke and GPS reads 47-48 with light gear, empty live wells and 300 lbs of people. Speedometer says 52 but obviously is off.
Mine is a 2015 Triton 18TX with a 115hp Mercury four stroke it's 18' 8" long and 92" wide. I'm hitting about 44MPH but I think it would do a little better if I had a different prop.
Thanks guys I just want a little more speed bc I fish greers ferry an it's a bigger lake an sometimes make long runs.. Plus I heard xpress is one of the smother riding aluminum boats, my stinger rides pretty rough.
Express XP200 with a 115 yammy, 45 is as fast as I have had it with 3 people and all my gear. Plenty for me and I think it will do a tad more.

One thing I never see anyone mention about running at high speeds is other than the drag of the water there's NO BRAKES !!
I have an Xpress 20 ft with 200SHO Yamaha 65.5 mph max. Typically 2 people and gear 61 mph. Neighbor has 18 ft Xpress with 115 4 stroke Yamaha 50 mph max , 2 people and gear 47,5 mph. Both ride smooth , but not quite as smooth as a good brand fiberglass bass boat. This is my 3rd Xpress and I recommend them. Never had any hull issues.
Got an xpress h18pfc with yam 115 and only get to 42-43 with 19 pitch prop. 4 batteries an a 112 terrova are killin my mph I believe. Still working on jack plate adjustments.

I got a 2014 Lowe Stinger with a 115 4-stroke. My speedometer on the boat says 47ish......but my GPS on my Helix says 39mph and thats with all my gear and hopefully both livewells full of water and fish! I trust my Helix way more than my Boat spedometer. If ur wanting speeds over 50mph you may have to go with a much bigger motor than 115hp. More like a 150+. I was told by the dealer that mine would exceed 50. I wish I would have made him bet his life savings on it....cuz he did not tell the truth! Hahahaha

2008 tracker 190 with 90 optimax goes 40-42 with 2 people and gear by gps. Splits rough water well on plane but blows around like crazy while fishing in wind.
Its on Utube hitting 83.5 GPS. Still blueprinting the hull and tweaking here and there. I wouldn’t bet against him. Maybe not 90 but very close.Quote:

My Crappie Jon (1452) goes about 25mph with a 15 4stroke Merc. My pondtoon (1672) runs about 25mph with a 30 4stroke Merc. I can outrun the fish, well most of them. My pondtoon is a zero turn radius machine.
Both boats are stick drive. One is the EZ Glide stick drive , the other is Joystick drive.
Add it all up, looks like I can do 50 mph with 45hp of 4 stroke.

My motor is mounted in the third hole. Prop is a Laser2 stainless and is 22" pitch. My tach is reading 5400 RPM when I'm trimmed out and running about 44 MPH GPS. Max RPM on this motor is 6000 so mine is not winding all the way up with this prop. I do need to verify the accuracy of my tach to see if it's reading right.Quote:

Xpress X-19 with a Yamaha 150 4 stroke, 6inJP and 23p Mecury trophy, top speed is 58-59mph with a full tank of fuel and livewell. So glad I didn't go with the 115 4 stroke.

I have 2002 Triton 175 90 merc, me and all my junk about 42 is the most I have seen it gps.
I have a 17 foot xterminator (like blazer) with 40 hp Johnson jet does about 28 maxed out, and my 18 ft pro craft fiberglass bass boat with 150 hp black max does about 64 with just me in it on flat water and only 2 gallons of gas in the tanks and no gear whatsoever lol
