True, hate to say it but that lake could use a size & possession limit on crappie.
Anyone been on Kinkaid this week? Or have any tips. Taking my dad and my 10 year old daughter this Saturday
Caught some dandys at Crab sunday. 12-13 inch fish. To bad I ran out of minnows. Water temp was 69F and those big female fish were doing there thing.

2ft deep in 3 feet of water.
Just finished 4 of the poorest days of crappie fishing I've ever had on Crab. Fish were scattered and what we did find were mostly small. What really has happened to this lake? Used to be able to put together a pretty good couple of days with some really respectable fish. Now it seems to be a struggle to catch even a handful over 10".
Only had 17 keepers yesterday, mostly deep sets, yes it was slow and poor. Water 69 degrees, no weeds. Water skiers looked to be havin fun though.
