Looks good kosmo ...
Any more results with the SI being affected when the ONIX is CHIRPing ...??
Rickie
kosmo,
Nice image....particularly given the water depth. Is the regular single & dual beam 2D sonar (non Chirp) still available as a menu option with the 2.7 software update or is chirping the only 2D available?
Kosmo thanks for the continuing education for us newbies. My first time posting so if I make mistakes try to ignore it please. My question on the first pic is are the good arches and extra info on the screen due to chirp or a product of using both 2d crystals. Usually the 83 khz crystal produces the better arches under most conditions. Or is this newbie way off base.?
Thanks again for the information u provide!
Your correct, but I don't have a 175/225 to compare with that picture, using the 200.i new I had that picture, but didn't no what frequency it was on until I got home to look. I do believe that the chirp or maybe it's just the update, but there's a definite improvement in 2d,with the 2.70 update
Thanks to u guys flashing all the nice screenshots I just had to have an onix 10. Took awhile to install but I think I have the transducer spot on. Only had it out once and the wind was horrible and forgot my sd card. It is too much fun just riding and looking at the si to stop and waste time fishing. Keep up the good work!!!! I didnt have time to experiment with very many screen combos.
To be honest I did not know about internal to sd memory transfer. Also it was too much fun to vew the images I also think I went brain dead. thanks again from a newbie!
Greg
I briefly,, fooled with the chirp, si/di yesterday. I had medium and high chirp running at the same time. Evert ime I switched from spectrum to sweep I could see, what appears to be skips, in the DI data. Couldn't see it in the si, but it's probably there to. I also see some interference on 360,while the unit is set to sweep. (the slower the chart speed, the more prominent the skips are).I've seen the pictures that Wayne P. posted over at BBC. Boards. My si doesn't look like what his unit did. :scratchhead
Ok kosmo I need some help copying image from internal to sd2. On my menu for snapshotsnthere is no copy in the dropdown. I can name and delete but no copy. I dont doubt ur word from a previous text but I have reread that section ten times or more, sometimes us ancient guys need a little charitable help. Thanks in advance. Greg
*Home screen ...
*Images widget ...
*Internal ...
*Long press on any pic ... (Or navigate with joystick to pic and press "Menu" button) ...
*Copy (or copy all) ...
*Choose SD Card ...(choosing Internal will make a copy in the internal memory) ...
*Press joystick or Check mark ...
There must be a SD Card in 1 of the slots or the Copy and Copy all will not be in the dropdown list ...

https://youtu.be/tV3BSPBuh4o.. If you want, you could also put another blank SD card I to the other reader spot. You now can, put some snapshots on sd1 card someonsd2,while snapshots will remain on the unit. Until you delete.
Thanks kosmo for the info. I thought I did it this way but will try again per ur instructions to the letter. Many thanks again.

Here's an example , you might not want to put this picture on one of your SD cards, but maybe on the other one. :angel:http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps6hpzn1kz.jpg:biggrin
That is inspiration for sure!
Success finally . The one thing missing was the sd card. I had it in the laptop cleaning up all the 2.7 files and forgot and left it. One thing puzzles me. Without touching the picture no screen appears. I tried it using the joystick and pressing down, and no menu. There must be workaround for nt models . Thanks for 4he help. Next I will send some screen captures. I like the onyx for the thumbwheel and joystick. Overall a great macine!
