I have never been up that way, and would appreciate following someone up there... Not looking for your honey hole, just want a little help...

We're going but no idea where yet
Me too. Likely
Going below 43 bridge
Well, the weather is supposed to be much better.. How bout in the Pelahatchie bay?
I haven't fished the bay this year. Not sure if water has cleared or current decreased. There are several places just south of 43 bridge that I will be trying in the am. Putting in at Tommys trading post or Browns landing
Fished the welfare hole from deep to shallow then continued fishing from there south in 5-6, then went in along edge of the lilly pads til you get to the rebar off that first point, then all over all of s-curve, river to pads. Caught 1 good fish a few little ones. Not a good day for us.
I expect phone calls if someone's on em lol. shouldn't be to hard to get on them tomorrow
When you old boys gonna send some of that Jackson heat up north... ?? Lol... I'm starving up here done wasted away to about 270# now chasing the bite.... DD I may now of a possible sasquatch in my area.. ole boy was wearing a size 15 when he was 12... Lol.. :-)
WHAT WAS THAT NUMBER ?
Going to be on the water about noon. Hopefully they are hungry!!
Dang, great to hear all these people on here fishing the Rez now. We ought to have enough to start a Central Mississippi crappie group sooner or later. Y'all feel free to PM me a number I'll send you mine. Always nice to have a group of boats working to find fish.
My fishing partner called me at 5:15 AM saying he was sick, so I never made it out to the Rez...Such a fine day, WASTED!
Maybe new . Always been a lot of us on here lol. Maybe this summer we can get together n do a fish fry at Browns landing pavilion
Yeah, just seems like several new guys on here fishing the lake. I'm game for that. Enough people and we can do a mini camp down here I reckon.
Was a slow evening for me yesterday. Put in at 1230 or so and fished till 5 and brought home 8 only throwing two back. LOTS of boats on the water when I got there but they slowly started leaving. Figured they would had turned back on but nothing to speak of. Hit another spot on the way in and fished it for 20 minutes without a bite. Although I talked to several people that had limits and some even over. Was talking to a guy next to me while fishing and he said he had his limit but was helping his partner ( who was fishing close by) get his. No sooner than he got that out of his mouth he said "damn that's the game warden ain't it?". And it was, 3 of them had slipped right up on us. After checking me he was next in line and after a quick look in his live well, they decided to count them up. I believe I heard them say 32. They wrote the ticket and moved on to the next one. Good to see these guys out patrolling. I commend them for what they do, just a known presence means a lot. Going to try to get back out there one evening this week hopefully!
Wished they would do it more often
Fantastic news. I've been on the the last couple years about checking Limits. I know a few of them. I will call and have when I see folks go over the limit. Limit is there for a reason
I got checked by a really nice warden at Browns Landing Saturday. I have no problem with them doing their job. I wish it was a few more wardens to keep everybody honest.
