Bass Pro has the Baker Brush Anchor for 5 Bucks, I've not used it but it looks like it would do the job and for 5 buck would be worth a try.

We got two heavy duty jumper cable clamps and clamped the rope where the wire normally goes.

Clove100, I am not sure if you were saying cabelas is sold out or the link I posted is sold out. Blakemore Brush Grippers are no longer made, Cabelas will not be getting them back in stock. The link I posted is the closest thing i have found to the Blakemore Grippers.
