OK, so the good news is today we KILLED them. Bad news is I had a real hard time keeping count of how many I had in the boat. Especially when I would get into a good biting school. I dont want to get into trouble with Mr Green Pants so what do you guys use to keep count. Thanks in advance.
Well, a pastor and friend used marbles and a metal coffee can with a lid. When he caught one he would take a marble out of his pocket and drop into the can. Then when he had no marbles left he went to clean them and call it a day. Another thing he liked to do is shake that can to pick on people he knew that was struggling to get their first fish. He did that down on Lake Fork.
I'm still looking forward to having that problem.

Get the one with the base on it. You can use your foot and keep both hands free.

I use one similar to this, slid all the beads to the top and each time you catch one slide a bead to the bottom. Make them with the same amount of beads that your limit is.

we use several methods ....some times a clicker ......
sometimes i use a metal stringer with 8 hooks ....
3 per makes 24 ......of course its heck to get the last one on but its easy to count em that way
just remembered something,--contact Arkansasbowhunter, his daughter Littlebit use to make some real nice lanyards that had bead counters on them also you can get them made with hooks for remotes and other stuff you want to keep close.
I use a free app on my phone...Its a volleyball scoreboard its got two sides so you can keep your fish count and your partners at the same time just the screen when u get catch the fish.
I like the idea of the ones from academy. I can just put that on a lanyard or mount it to my rod holders so that it's right there and handy but I will check out the ones by Arkansas hunter also
Good problem to have.. Sounds to me like you need a fishing partner that is good with arithmetic, I'm not that guy but let's go anyway ;-)
