Brett, there are some guys on other boards (cant remember where) that makes something very similar that has a swivel attached to the blade and the swivel eye goes onto the hook and theirs do spin like roadrunners. Yours looks good but you might wanna look into what I'm talking about too.

Tail spins don't work very well but using a swivel is the way to do it. Tie you a drop wire in the body then add a crane swivel and blade for a belly spin.
