Great Day with a good friend and his son

We had a great day on the water!!! This was Jeff and his sons first time Crappie fishing. I was able to put them on som fish for a great time. 5 hours later he and his son are wanting to buy a boat!!! ANOTHER ONE HOOKED....LOL I cant tell you how much fun it was watching these guys that have never been crappie fishing, fall completely in love with it! Especially a father and son!! We ended up catching 57 crappie, 3 yellow perch, 2 white perch and an 18inch rock. These were 2 Happy guys when we were done!!! Attachment 232161 Attachment 232162 Attachment 232163

Nice work Speck. Of all the accomplishments one could strive for in fishing, none is greater than getting young people out there and putting them on fish. They get the thrill of the catch and you get the satisfaction of seeing them have a ball doing it. That's really so cool man. Again, very nice job. And I love to see those males with their spawning colors on. Our rivers down this way are just now starting to recede. Three quarters of our season was lost, but that just means more for next year, lol.

I told him when he decided to make the investment, that I would help him rig it up and get him off to a good start with some good tips! Impressively they both caught on very quickly. I definitely see some future Crappie fisherman in the making.
