Lake Dias 3/12/2016
Spent the day out on the lake enjoying what mother nature give's to us.
Was floating around in about 13 - 14 ft of water. Water temp was 71.
Started out spider rigging picked up some small one's on jig's . Jig head
colors i used were Red , White , Chartreuse , Pink and the bait colors i
used were Red/yellow , White , color they call purple haze and Heavy D .
All made by Crappie Magnet. Trolling around .o5 or so but as the day moved
on so the wind picked up . So i decided to let mother nature move me around
Put my 12 ft poles away got out my 8 ft poles and set them out the back of the
boat floating corks with minnows set about 6/7 feet under the corks. Got some
nice ones and had a few that shook the off. Got hit by 4 bass 2 were small not
even 8 inches but did hook up with 2 at the same time about pound each. That
was fun and the best part they didn't tangle up with the other lines...

Nice batch there for sure, the ones I caught today were about the same, slip bobber set at about 6 ft too in about 10 fow. Nice report, thanks.

It's good to see Diaz on the come back. The specks there were as big as the ones out of Crescent. If one technique doesn't work, try another one. That's why I put 20 rods in my boat when I go out. LOL Good job!

Best report I've seen or heard from Diaz in while, nice fish !!:cheers2

I have been going to this lake for last few years. It seems like it's been a hard fished
lake but hopefully it is coming back..Will be back at it again this Saturday ..
