Thanks man and at my age, my rod does just fine. Some prefer a stiffer one, but since I like Dippin so much, you could say it's naturally bent. I went Birthday fishing today and only had a bent rod twice all day. I should have had a day of Birthday naps like the one I'm fixin to take.Quote:

Happy Birthday To The Guy Who Can Fix Anything- including, hopefully, your bent pole! It as about this time last year that you diagnosed my Tracker problem and then put me on my first slab after 18 months away from the game- so thanks for fixing me and my boat Craig. Hope your birthday month includes a lot of toads and pigs.
Thanks guys, can't say I remember diagnosing a problem for you George. Heck I do good to figure out the issues I have. Got the big motor running now and am studying how to adjust the idle which is done by the timing. She'll get me by for now though as I've run it enough to know I should be ok to venture out a bit further. I might have to overhaul the other motor so I'll have a good back up.
Reaper- it turned out to be a bad battery but on the ay to that discovery you ran every diagnostic short of a PSA test on my beloved Tracker and finally got us both on the water that day. My first crappie after that long layoff was a good one. Maybe this picture will jog your creaky memory!
