After spending a few days mourning the loss of my stolen tackle, gear, and electronics, I decided I couldn't stay inside any longer. Tightened up my bootstraps, counted my blessings, and then raided all the local tackle stores and put together an emergency box of gear and lures. Hit the lake just at sun-up to try and beat the wind. Fished some ledges in the main lake till 8 or so when the wind drove me to find some protected waters. Fish bit good on the big lake and were sporadic everywhere else. Caught fish everywhere I went but had to work to find some keepers. Ended the day at 11 with 18 in the box and at least that many throwbacks. Pretty good day of fishing with out any electronics to help I reckon. Gunna hit em again tomorrow.
