Has anyone used the twin injector from bass tackle thinking about getting one
I have one and I like it but Doit has one that has great reports. The only thing I don't like about BT is the thickness of the wall. They are built like tanks! The have to stay preheated or they will clog. They will last a lifetime and if you have a hotplate to keep it hot you will enjoy it but like I said earlier the Doit injector has great reviews and I hear it's milled much thinner than BT which is a big plus in my opinion.
I have the Do-It twin injector and its a nice unit. I haven't encountered any issues with it.
The thing about bass tackles, its gonna last a whole lot longer. I got injectors i made that are right in the middle of do its and basstackles on wall thickness, that the ends flaired out on. Plus its hard to beat a locking pin especially when you got 2 of them. No way i would want my hand close to that blending block if the tip sticks and the injectors spews all over. But i watch for stuff that will haunt me with a lawsuit someday so i am one sided on that deal.
My everyday injector is a 4 ounce Jacobs and it is the safest injector around. Do-It's twin locks the injectors to the block so I can clear the pipes without worrying about the nozzles popping off.
Thanks for the info guys
I like my do it but I'm no expert.
I feel the handle on the blending blocks need better design. Like maybe adding a collar for both injectors to slide down in to help aline the injector to the openings on the blending block. Then have the handle bent at a 90 pointed back toward you. I would buy a blending block like that in a hurry! Hint hint bug...
My favorite design was the dual injector that was like welded together that didn't require a blending block. It blended at the tip of the injector. I can't remember who made that injector and never owned one it just looked less bulky and I loved the fact in blended at the tip.
I already made one with a handle. I make injectors with handles as well. Well we did, we have been prototyping a few mew things to put in mass production. Man and wife team run out of time in one day. Lol
We are man and wife team also. I know the feeling brother.
