Lakeway, B's Grocery at the turnoff going to Graysport, Parker's on the way to Choctaw, Collin's in Grenada, all are good and fair priced.
Parkers is now Jeffery's, has been for a,while but I can't seem to remember it changed hands 10 years ago.
Paragould Arkansas
Location of minnow farms in AR and plan your trip around them.
I'll take 2 or 3 lbs for a restroom break in Southaven on your way down.
Bight 10 pounds yesterday in Meridian.
Cheapest place I have found in MS, 8 bucks a pound. I keep a small vat going at the house from now till May or so and it saves me from having to drive all the way to Grenada to get bait, lot of ramps closer for me than Grenada Landing and a couple of them are usable now.
Good deal John.
Just go by John's house and help yourself if you're coming in that way and don't want to go all the way in. :biggrin:biggrin
I need to get my tank set up for a couple of pounds.
When it gets to warm to keep minnows I use it as a rain barrel.
Pillows in Paragould AR. They bag em and shot oxygen in there. I'd put 2lbs per bag. That will get you to the lake then put them in a bait net. They sell those also.
What size minner do most bait shops down there sell for larges?
Large in the Grenada area is too big, mediums here are bigger than most folks large.
Yep, Batteries went down one day. I just baited up with Grenada larges, dangled crappie nibbles in front of em, and cruised in. Just saying..
Well alright what size are the Grenada mediums? Lol. I'm going to bring my own before heading to Washington and didn't know if y'all knew what size you generally ran
8s is what I am told and what I bought yesterday, 6s were small for what I like.
Thanks john
