whats happen to the crappie fishing on the lake few crappie and no small ones
30 fish limits and too much pressure. Just like Lake Weiss.
We fished Reelfoot Lake yesterday and caught several small crappie. We had a lot of good 11 to 13 inch fish. Caught a couple of 14 and one 15 inch crappie. Reelfoot has been in a big slump but it is coming back and they are now netting the Carp.
She is coming back. I have caught a lot of good fish this winter, but I have caught plenty small fish as well. Brighter days are on there way.
Some catch them and some don't but it's sure better than the last two years at this time that's for sure.

I have had my best winter in years. 4 limits since the new year.

I'm headed to reelfoot March 20th for a week, was curious what the outlook for fishing would be then would appreciate any information
Should be on like donky kong!! lol.. A lot of fish are being caught big and small, your either in them or your not!!

That's what makes Reelfoot so much fun to fish. It's always a challenge to figure the fish out. Been fishing there 45 years and still have good days and bad days. You can't find a more beautiful lake anywhere IMHO.Quote:
