Rickie
The boat entered choppy water or was hit by the wake of another boat?
Some fish were swimming more closely to the same speed and direction as the boat than the other group?
I concur .... based on the bottom contour has wavy lines & they start at the same point where the "dot" fish become "wavy" fish. Could possibly also be that the boat was slowed down some by the waves, dragging the dots out across the screen because they were in the sonar ping longer due to the slowing of the boat.

Waves dude.....
theysaidI think they got it Rickie .... Glad you posted this, I was starting to have Quiz withdrawal.
WAVES AND BOAT TURNING MADE FISH LOOK LONG,AS BOAT TURN IT MADE DUCER STAY POINTED TO FISH MAKING THEM LOOK LONG
Ok Rickie, the waves ones are that way because the boat was bouncing because of the bumps showing, but couldn't the dots be because they were farther out from the transducer and higher in the water column? Less affected by the boat bounce. Went back and looked again now agree with Pappy on the before bounce started.
Waves then calm. Just saw this so I am not coat tailing. I know how you guys are...
bass ackwards
That flat one is where there were no rods in the water and then someone put a line in and started jigging vigorously causing the boat to rock.
didn't know you were spoonbilling with 20 pund weights.
