Just a reminder, that the TN license expires 2/29/2016.
Still have to renew mine, but wanted to pass this along as it sneaks up on me.

:ThumbsUp:ThumbsUp Thanks
I picked up mine and my wife's on Tuesday. I always try to get them as soon as I can so I don't forget.
Just got mine $166. Pitiful it cost that much for a resident to hunt and fish.
I have a perpetual license. Too bad I gotta die sooner or later.
Mine expire when I do. I'm hoping that will be a long while :biggrin Thanks for the reminder
And another year of price gouging by our guys. I can go to Iowa and hunt cheaper than home. So sad.
Thanks for the reminder.
I turn 65 on March 14. I have to wait 14 days to get my lifetime license.
If you cant stand it and must fish b4 March 14th, just buy you a 1 day trip license at $6.50 if your going crappie fishing thats good enough. :)
I need to just buy my lifetime but it's $1800 give or take $100. It's a lot easier to come up with $165 each year. Maybe some day.
It's cheaper for me to hunt and fish Arkansas or Mississippi than it is my home state. I will give TN credit, we do have some very nice state lakes to fish. I think I remember someone told me that TWRA is funded solely on license fees and don't receive tax dollars. May be wrong.
You are correct in that assumption. TWRA receives no tax dollars. They are quite good at what they do with the funds they have. There are several town, or county owned lakes that have been offered to be deeded to TWRA....they can't take them. Hardly enough money to take care of agency lakes they already have.
