Bigeyecrappieman Tournament Results

What a Beautiful Day on the water. God Blessed us with light wind and warm temperatures. 17 Teams showed up today for the 1st Bigeyecrappieman Fishing Event for the year at Jordan Lake NC. The cold and muddy water along with the Corps of Engineers pulling the water hard made for some serious tough fishing. But great Fishermen always step up to the challenge. Robbie and Keith Johnson finished in 1st Place with a catch of 7 fish weighing 7.480 lbs and the Big Fish of the Day weighing 1.345 lbs and that was awesome with the conditions that were faced . So a Great Congrats for the well deserved Victory! 2nd Place went To Newell Montgomery and Shane Walser with 7 Fish weighing 6.835 lbs and 3rd place went to Chad Meeks and his Grand Dad Selvin Snead . also we had Great turn out for the weigh in as we prayed and shared a story from the Bible. We learned from the Story of Mary and Martha not get distracted by the things of this world especially things that keep you from the being at the Feet of Jesus worshipping Him and learning from His Word. Don't forget we will be at Jordan Lake again next Saturday 2/27 for our 2nd Event . Come on out and join us as we Fellowship on and beside the water. See ya there!

A big congrat's to the winners. It was a tough day on the water, but the winning team had some nice fish. Looking forward to being back on the water this Saturday.

Had a great time as well. We only caught 7 keepers. Had 5 before 9:30 and only two bites the rest of the day. They did not come until after 1:00. Fish were on finder but couldn't get them to bite for nothing.

Actually I was the captain this time. Fished in my boat thank you very much. Shane1980 fished with me.

Yikes! Like I said in another post Fishing was HARD. On Saturday. But I finished 6th. I'm going to change my Strategy for Next Saturday slightly. I can't wait!

I believe Freddie would accept that as payment. He can throw down on some doughnuts. Only Krispy Kremes. None of that dunkin doughnut mess. Haha

No. Marked some fish but would have be a nightmare to tight line. Small sticks and debris everywhere.

Everytime newly fishes a tourney with a guide he finishes in the money.... coincidence? Haha

Good going all. Maybe one day yall will be brave and fish at the "dead sea" lake norman.

Shane, you are leaning from the best when you go with Newell. I won't what he is best at.

My name is Russell. I am interested in upcoming tournaments. We are relatively new to crappie fishing our (home lake) is Tillery. I have a disabled son who loves to fish, he is interested in maybe fishing a tournament. It would require a lot of preparation in advance but maybe We could help make that happen for him?

Hey Russell we would love to have you guys come out and join us sometime. We all are average fishermen. We don't have any special kind of Equipment for Disabled Fishermen. These are Tournaments for Crappie Fishermen in our area. So come on out and meet the guys.

I have a boat we mainly fish at Tillery. Where do you weigh in Saturday? May come down and see you.
