She had 3ft waves today !!!
Wow. Don't want to fight 3 ft waves
Should lot better tomorrow, wind is way down now.
Just tough it out. If you wanna learn how to fish the wind, you must go when it's windy!!! At times, and with the proper gear, "The Wind Is Your Friend"!!!
Fair weather fishermen struggle at the tourneys. You don't get many perfect days when tourney fishing. It's always tough it seems. I see guys post tons of fish week in and week out, but on tourney day, they struggle. You can't cherry pick the good days when fishing tourneys. You gotta fish good weather or not if you want to be successful. If you never go when it's tough, you'll never learn how to fish or adjust to the rough conditions. The guys that learn and adapt to the weather are always near the top of the heap at weigh in regardless of the conditions. Learning to adapt to the weather is what separates the men from the boys. Randy if u or Billy had called me I could have helped you a little !!!!
I have been there on and off sence October fishing about ever week !!!!
Was yall using critters? ???
Always bring your on minners to Washington !!!'
Minners were bigger at BaitsNThangs, he got some from Jerry Finkley.
we got some from both places, but they just weren't what we wanted. Not that it would've made any difference, but one thing I have learned over the years shooting docks, you got to have confidence in what you are fishing with.....and I just didn't with those minners
Still going to bring my on !!!!
I sure kicked myself in the behind for not taking some from up here. Bet that don't happen again.
A Lakeway small would have fit the bill well but the mediums were a little too big.
Minners at bait and thangs was small too..sure did get a good count and a friendly smile tho. Will bring mine next trip
So the small minners were a hair small, and the medium minners were a little big......
So if you can't bring your own, what size would Goldie locks need to fish with to be Just Right??
:Rofl:Rofl Confusing aint it?????
We caught ours on the reds
The fish we caught were on the few minnows that we culled thru and found about 2 in long. The rest would have made good bream bait. So small you could hardly get a #2 hook in their lips without killing them. I wish I had of had some about 3in long.
