Tebo Action
Put in at Windsor Crossing this morning and was surprised to see ice on the lake! Didn't think it got that cold last night.
I spider rigged up in the creeks with minnows, the fish were very shallow 1 to 5 feet and the best bite was 15 to 19 fow. They wanted to slow and the bite was very soft, only had a couple that really nailed it. Thanks Gordon for the tips
Might go back in the morning and find a hole out of the windAttachment 229246Attachment 229247

Got to the ramp before daylight and the sunrise was amazing, the pictures don't do it justice.
Fished the same area but it was a slower day, probably because the wind would not let the minnow sit still like the crappie wanted it.
The wind wasn't really that bad up in the creek but I tied off on a few trees and caught several and managed a limitAttachment 229324Attachment 229325Attachment 229326. Only caught 1 on a jig the rest were on minnows and still shallow.

If the pictures don't do it justice, that was one helluva sunrise! Great pics and congrats on the limit, Brian!

Great sunrise pics. Congrats on the limit. Thanks for posting.

The sunrise was pretty cool, it looked like the sky was on fire. The picture does not really show how bright it was, catching fish was just a bonus. :)
