Has anyone been to Clinton lake today, would like to know if there is ice on the lake and how the fish are bitting. Taking the day off work to chase crappie.
No ice on the lake yesterday. marina ramps open with docks in the lake. Saw 2 trailers in the parking lot, but did not see them on the lake.
Im planning on hitting a lake somewhere next week! Reckon they should all be ice free!

Made it out for a while yesterday with a guy who had not fished in a long time. We caught about 50 and cleaned 16 we didn't have to measure. Fish where on the bottom on the breaks. Not really relating to the brush all that much. I think it's going to be an early "disappearing" trick from the deep water. May have a couple of more weeks then they will be gone. Pink and Chart where the best colors.

Went 2/15 to clinton, bunch of boats out. Hope some of them tore em up. My boat ended up with two shorts. Fished bout everything but shallow water. Should have went anywhere else. Luck to the rest of yas!
