Looking for opinion on power pole paddles.
I saw them demonstrated on one of the fishing shows last weekend. Looks awesome! Just wondering if you can easily switch from pole to paddle, or if you can only buy one or the other? Not that I'm interested in buying either mind you. I can think of a lot of better things to buy for 2K. And a PP is not one of them! :)
Check with Cajun Fryer on the KY or IL forum. He's building manual paddles that are awesome. I know they will slow down a 21 foot Ranger to crawl speed in heavy winds plus you don't have to have the Talon poles.
Check out my face book page
Corn field crappie gear
Monday I will start posting paddles for sale on CDC
Just finished putting 5 sets together this morning
Going in tomorrow to launch web page
I believe a set of the pp with the paddle add on are around 4000.00
Corn field crappie gear paddles
Are 1100.00 for a set free shipping to the lower 48
I like it...........
Do you have to mount to jackplate...my boat doesn't have one....are there other mounting options
Just l launched web page this morning

Working on mount for non jack plate set up now
I went from .9 - 1.0 down to .4
In a 20' ranger in 9-11 mph winds
I've got a set of cajun fryers paddles on my boat
Z21 Ranger. At 1.3 mph it slowed the boat down to .3-.4 mph with both paddles fully deployed.
.6-.7 with them half deployed
Great product
Good deal...very interested...waiting to find out about mounting options without jackplate
I would like to know how they mount and see some better pictures of how they mount to your boat. I have a 18 ft express and thinking this may be my next purchase.
Can you design one for side drifting? One big paddle that can be deployed from the port side, about mid way up the boat. I'll be fishing a lot of shallow stumps so it has to be durable as I know I'll bump some stumps while drifting. PM me.
Tried to up load pictures can't get it to work anymore. Use to make it work
rockmike pm me your number I will send you some pictures
Now it works how I done that God only knows
rockmike This is how it connects to the jack plate. Remove the 2 or 3 bolts on the side of the jack plate one side ONLY I was able to remove the outer bolt plate and use the same bolts.
The bracket it 1/4 thick . install Bracket tighten bolts. THEN remove bolts from other side add bracket. Pull the pin in the picture there to remove paddle from the bracket.
I take mine off when I am going to travel down the road. They catch a lot of wind. Lay them on the deck or in the bed of the truck. They fit in a compartment on my Ranger. The hole is large enough you can put a padlock in there so someone cannot remove them for you.
Looks lot better than my Rural King bucket.
I was out with a guide that has drift paddles by power poles on his boat and I can tell you they work excellent. There is way to much physics for me to describe.
Thanks for the info.
We will need to get together on this. I will see what I can do
Very nice, what is the paddle made out of and what's durability.
Clever idea. I would have to add linear actuators to those paddles. I ain't no good @ pulling ropes.
I am gonna get a set of these and will give you guys the good, bad, and or ugly on them. I think for the price and what looks like ease of use it will be money well spent.
Look forward to it. I probably would pull the trigger if I was sure they would fit with my kicker.
I am all ears :)
I would already have purchesed a set if they had a motor mount model.
He now has a motor motor mount model!
Send me a picture of your setup
I think we can make it work
We have a bracket for a non jack plate setup they are at the painters now
