TNT and I gave it our best but Friday killed any chances we had. We only caught 3 fish on Friday that were small and weighted in at 2.81. Saturday we did better and caught some of the best seven of the day but way short of the top 6, we had 10.36 on Saturday for a total of 13.17 and finished in 14th place out of 30 teams. We fished next to Eric and Leann all day on Friday but couldn't get it done. We worked hard both days and the weather was terrible to say the least, but Tim and I had a great time fishing together. Tim is a really good fisherman and I did learn a lot from him. Thanks TNT for the great two days of fishing, wheel get them next time.
HEY VIC,WAS PULLING FOR U ALL
2 days in good company is good all the same.
The only thing I can think of that Vic learned from me is to NOT fish in 30 mph winds:yikes Like Vic said, Friday was terrible for us. We started out shortly after 6:00 a.m. in the dark with what seemed like monsoon winds. Water was coming in the front of the boat with some of the waves that hit us. That shoulda been a sign but Vic is as bullheaded as I am, so we toughed it out. Two logging chains, a drift sock and the trolling motor turned around backwards was what it took to maintain the speed we were wanting to stay at. Those 3 fish sure hurt our feelings at the end of the day but we hung in there. Saturday, we took a different approach and changed our strategy and managed to boat 7 fish with 3 pretty good fish with a 2.02, 2.29 and a 1.78 to help boost our total weight, but it was not near enough to place in the $$$. We took 14th Place out of 30 teams so at least we made a respectable showing. Maybe next year Vic:cheers2:highfive

TNT that was some tough fishing conditions. That sounds like you boat well exceeds the ocean test.
