Was thinking about going to single pole holders for spider rigging and was wanting some feed back from those that use them. Pro's and con's as to brands prefferded. Any input will help thanks.

Why single pole? :dono
Most often answer to that question, that I've seen, is "to keep all the rods from reacting (bouncing) when one rod is getting a strike, or the operator "bumps" the holder".
Another reason may be .... to be able to spread the formation of holders over a greater coverage area. :dono

I think the average answer is to keep all the poles from bouncing when you get a hit. My take on this is if I were tourney fishing I would probably go to single pole holders. One missed bite can cost hundreds of dollars. I personally have Spyder Locks and I really like them but I don't fish competitively. Also the cost for singles is sort of prohibitive.
To me....a little shake of all the poles is an advantage. Many times I'll see a far left pole shake as the far right gets bit. I've learned to distinguish between shake and bite and have caught lots of fish although I wasn't looking at the pole when it was hit.
If you can afford them, get em! Tourney or non-tourney, I hate missing fish. Some racks just aren't stable enough. The spyderlock locks are nice racks. I have the driftmaster Crappie Stalkers and love them!
My poles been shaking for years.
my poles don't shake.:(
I have a set of tite locks and really like them
So you have a set of tite-lok singles and you like them.
Check out the Bee Readys. Great for spider floating/rigging. Mount them on anything. I have a mix of everything. I have EZZ Pole Holders on my Pondtoon. They great. I have some Hi Techs. They great. I have no problem with catching using any pole holders, but I do have problems paying ATTENTION.
Bee Ready Rod Holders

I only use two single holders . Left and right hands .:biggrin
The Atwood single pole mounts are great and Sell for $13.95 at grizzly Jig. Get extra mounting bases for $5.99 ea. I use both types of rod holders. I love to have extra bases for moving around rigs.
What kind of line is that warbird?
