Very cool. I have played guitar and bass in bands for over 40 years. The one instrument that I always wished I would have learned was the steel guitar. The sound can evoke joy, loneliness, or sadness. It's so expressive, so "American", and speaks to the soul. I hope he sticks with it. Good job by him.
amazing, nice job and so young
I love steel guitar music! That kid is good! He oughta audition in Nashville!
Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.
I, like crappiewisdon, have played with bands all my life and never have seen the likes of this young man. He is a natural talent for sure! He could audition in Nashville, BUT he needs a few more years of grooming to be fully ready for the 'big time'.
Awesome talent for his young age!! :-)
You have reason to be proud. Your son is very talented.
After hearing Robert Randolph, Steve Howe of Yes and David Gilmore of Pink Floyd play the steel, I find it hard to go back to the country style steel. Too much rocker in my blood.
Very talented indeed.
And hey now, I love Floyd too.
"Going for the One is one of my favorite Yes albums. I too like Randolph, Yes, Floyd, etc.
Who would have thought that fishing geezers like us would like music that???!! I thought I was the only one!!!!
Very nice young man. Was refreshing to hear the sound of the steel again.
Thanks for the comments guys.
Outstanding !
That was a lot of fun to listen to. Thanks for sharing.
I've been playing over 20 years and I've seen lots of pickers, that kid's got a gift.
Wonderful talent that young man has. A gift he can share with others in many ways.
Pink Floyd, Yes, and many others some found outside the lines replay in my head most every day. Bangin my head and waving my hand Boss...
Maybe that's why when folks talk I have to say " speak up!". If you can't feel the music it isn't loud enough.
